Prasanna comes from a small town in eastern India called Darjeeling, famous worldwide for its Tea. He brings over 35 plus years of experience working in different capacities in the tourism industry.
Starting his career as a culture and trekking guide in Darjeeling, he worked with the local tourism authority there before moving to Delhi where he worked as a facilitation executive, tour escort, operation manager, product development, and international business development manager during his career as a travel professional.
He has in-depth knowledge of destinations in the Indian subcontinent. Be it culture, adventure, special interest, or wildlife/ wilderness destinations he is hands-on with them all. He is a trained mountaineer, rafter, keen bird watcher, serious wildlife enthusiast, and a hobby angler.
He has travelled across the length and breadth of India apart from Nepal and Bhutan either accompanying tours or researching products. He has also travelled widely in other Asian, Middle-eastern, African and European countries introducing/ promoting tourism products or accompanying tours.
He has also volunteered in conservation projects, participated in birds and wildlife censuses, etc.
Prasanna specializes in planning and organizing wildlife and wilderness tours and tours to Northeast India apart from tours to other destinations.
