All your tour bookings should be made in writing by email or letter (Please note that Chariotindia will not be responsible for any booking not made in writing).
Once Chariotindia receives your written request to initiate bookings - we will action the same and revert to you with reservation status in writing. In some cases when it is urgent you may receive verbal confirmation from us – however, please ask the office to follow it up in writing.
In case of any revision in government tax structure, fuel prices, Chariotindia reserves the right to revise the tour price (we always absorb marginal difference).
Though we always make sincere effort to provide hotels mentioned in our proposals, it so happens sometimes that those hotels gets sold out at the time of making reservations. In such case Chariotindia will provide with alternative accommodation/ hotels of similar category. In such case any difference in cost will be debited or credited to client/ client organization.
Payment may be made by bank wire transfer, banker’s cheque favouring Chariot India payable in Delhi or online payment.
Note:
Services charges levied by banks for making payments through any mode would be borne by the client or client organisation.
(for wire transferring the funds Bank details will be provided along with invoice).

All cancellations should be communicated in writing. Any cancellations communicated verbally will not be considered valid.
FIT
Within 30 days prior to departure date no cancellation charges except for administration fees.
Between 30 to 15 days prior to departure date 25% of the land quote.
Between 15 to 07 days prior to departure date 50% of the land quote.
Between 07 to 72 hours prior to departure date 75% of the land quote.
Less than 72 hours prior to departure or no show 100% of the land quote.
GIT
With in 60 days prior to departure date no cancellation charges
Between 60 to 45 days prior to departure date 05% percent of the land quote
Between 45 to 30 days prior to departure date 10% percent of the land quote
Between 30 to 15 days prior to departure date 25% percent of the land quote
Between 15 to 07 days prior to departure date 50% percent of the land quote
Less than 07 days prior to departure or no show date 100% percent of the land quote
Notes:
i) Above cancellation rules doesn’t apply where bookings are confirmed making non-refundable advance payments.
ii) All non-refundable payments made on client's behalf to guarantee bookings will be deducted while making cancellation refunds.
iii) US$ 100 per person or equivalent (if other currency) will be charged as administration fees in case of cancellation (bank charges if applicable will be above the administration fees).
All amendments should be communicated in writing.
Though we will try to accommodate amendments the best possible way, any extra charges incurred will be charged to client or client organizations.
Chariotindia is not liable to pay any compensation for termination of tour or revision of itinerary incase of Force Majeure factors where things are beyond our control such as natural calamities, riots, political strikes, flight/train delay or cancellations etc.
Any extra cost incurred for revising itineraries in such situation/s would be debited to clients or the tour organizer.
In case of termination of tour mid-way due to any Force Majeure factors, retentions/ penalties charged for unutilized services would be borne by the client or the tour organizer.
