I am a retired attorney from California.  I am very familiar with India and the Himalayas, having first visited India in 1972, where I trekked the Khumbu region (Nepal) and delivered medicines to a clinic founded by Sir Edmund Hillary.  Since that time I have returned to India many times and have trekked the Kanchenjunga region with the assistance of Mrs. Tenzing Norgay and more recently visited the Kulu Valley for multiple treks out of Manali.

In May of 2015 I retained a local company here to prepare a custom trek for myself, my cousin and a friend to the Nanda Devi region and my agent here subcontracted the project to their associate Chariot India.  I could go on and on describing the events of the 17 days that we were entrusted to that company.  However, perhaps it is better just to say that I was amazed at the level of efficiency and professionalism we experienced.  Simply put, everything and I mean everything went perfectly.
