He has worked in the tourism industry in various capacities before starting ChariotIndia two and half decades back. He has also worked in Singapore for over five years exclusively promoting India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka as destination to discerning locals as well as affluent expatriate communities such as American Club, British Club etc.
PB or Badoni as he is popularly called, Prabodh hails from Dehradun in the foothills of western Himalayas. He moved to Delhi to pursue higher studies after finishing high school in his hometown. His passion for travel and exploration made him a travel professional and now he has experience of over three decades as a tour operator.
He is widely travelled in India (accompanying tours and researching products) as well as across the world, which gives him that extra edge to understand the expectation of travelers from western world which reflects in ChariotIndia tours that he meticulously designs.
His busy schedule as captain of the team and international traveling has not deterred his passion to explore home country, thus he regularly takes out time to travel around the country and update/ enhance his product knowledge.
Prabodh is a fine rider too and has personally led motorbike safaris in the Indian Himalayas, Rajasthan’s desert terrain and costal Kerala.
His city dwelling has not affected his attachment with his roots - hence he is firmly connected to his roots and does not miss a single opportunity to be there. His love for his native land reflects very strongly in ChariotIndia’s village tours.
